Depth of Field example – Pine Tree

Ever wonder what the heck people are talking about when they mention DOF (Depth of Field)?   I can’t explain really explain it…but I can show it. This is a great example of Shallow Depth of Field.

Taken with Canon EOS 40D and Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM.
