Double-Crested Cormorant – White Rock Lake

I captured this Double-Crested Cormorant at White Rock Lake in Dallas TX with my Canon 7D and Canon 500mm lens sitting atop my Induro CT314 tripod.

If you’re in the Dallas area, White Rock Lake is a great bird watching / photography spot…tons of birds and lots of opportunities to get close.  We’ll be going back quite a bit in the future.

      Thanks Randy! I really like the 500mm…and am getting really anxious that I’m going to have to return it in a week. I’m already saving up to buy one :)
