Much like life, you never stop learning about photography. There is always something new popping up to help you in creating a better photograph.
Most of the photos (snapshots really) that I take are outdoors. I like taking photos of animals, birds, landscapes and other outdoorsy things. The one thing that I’ve never really learned much about is taking photos indoors…but that is something I hope to change.
While reading up on the subject of using flash, I ran across Chas Elliott’s description of wireless flash technology on the Digital Photography School (DPS) website.
The article on DPS titled “Entering the World of Wireless Flash Technology” is full of cool information about the sort of new wireless flash technology that exists today. Chris talks about built-in wireless versus third party wireless (Radiopopper, Pocketwizards, etc) and does a good job outlining the differences. Jump over and check it out.
It seems there’s always something new to learn in photography…and for someone like me who loves to learn (and who’s a geek too!), it’s a great hobby to have.
