Pine Marten in Yellowstone National Park

I caught this pine marten at Sheepeater’s Cliff in Yellowstone National Park while we were resting.

We pulled into this popular wildlife watching location (and great picnic area) to see what we could see…and I’m glad we did! :)   There were a ton of photographers with their Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS USM and Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS USM lenses so we figured we’d sit beside them to see what popped out of the cliff.

This Pine Marten popped his head out and started looking around so I grabbed my my Canon EOS 5D with my Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM Lens and took a few photos.
