Spent some time in the evening practicing with my new monopod and had quite a few different types of birds visit..nothing exotic or new but I thought they were worth sharing. Nothing spectacular but fun shooting nonetheless.
House Sparrow - taken with Canon 5D and Canon 100-400 @ 400mm, 1/800 sec, ISO 800 and f/6.3
Lark Sparrow - taken with Canon 5D and Canon 100-400 @ 400mm, 1/1250 sec, ISO 800 and f/6.3
Common Grackle - taken with Canon 5D and Canon 100-400 @ 400mm, 1/400 sec, ISO 800 and f/6.3.
House Finch - taken with Canon 5D and Canon 100-400 @ 400mm, 1/1250 sec, ISO 800 and f/6.3

I use a tripod quite a bit but the images above were taken using a monopod.
Each photo listed has the exif data intact and has the settings for each photo. If you have any other questions, let me know.
