Green Heron with Canon 5D and Canon 400 5.6

I was testing out my new Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM Lens today and was lucky enough to see a Green Heron around the pond. I had to track him down a bit to get a good shot but he finally posed nicely for me. Here’s a few samples.   I’m loving this lens.
