This is my first Scissor-tailed Flycatcher! I went out this morning (First time out with the camera in quite a while) and found a few Scissor-tailed Flycatcher’s around Bob Woodruff Park in Plano, TX. Captured with Canon 7D and Canon 400mm 5.6 L on my Induro CT314 Tripod and RRS BH-55 Ballhead.

Baby Swallow Learning to Fly

I caught this great scene in my backyard. A famiy of swallows were flying around and this baby was having trouble flying. Momma (or dad..who knows) was trying to coax him into the air…he finally took off after a few hours of relaxing on the fence.
