Light wasn’t great in this capture, but I liked the detail on the bird.

While at White Rock Lake spillway a few weeks ago, I saw these Great Egrets and Snowy Egrets hanging out looking at something.

I captured this cardinal (looks like a juvi growing into his adult color) eating. This is a pretty heavy crop…nice and sharp Captured with Canon 1D Mark III and Canon 400mm 5.6 L with Canon 1.4x Extender on my Induro CT314 Tripod.
