Seagull – out of focus and a bit dark..but it works

While this seagull is technically out of focus and isn’t lit completely well, it’s still an interesting shot to me. Just goes to show that those photos you think are destined for the trash bin might work out after all.

Captured with my Canon 7D and Canon 400mm 5.6 L.

Bugling Elk at Yellowstone National Park

I shared this photograph of a Bugling Elk that I captured at Yellowstone National Park last year but I wanted to post it again to highlight it. I’m pretty proud of this shot…I caught this Bull Elk at the perfect time. While not the absolutely best technical photograph, it still works well I think.

Fossil Rim WIldlife Center – Glen Rose TX

Tracie and I went to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center today and we got some pretty good shots.

If you are a wildlife lover and you’re around the DFW area or traveling through the area, Glen Rose is a must see for you. If you’re a photographer, it’s even more of a must see.
