Here’s a Black-Crowned Night Heron that I photographed at White Rock Lake in Dallas TX a few weeks ago. Not the best photograph (it’s bit noisy when you pixel peep) but I still like it. Captured with Canon 7D and Canon 400mm 5.6 L.
